Semiconductor Ring Laser

SEMICONDUCTOR RING LASERS are optoelectronics devices with applications to in all-optical circuits. The peculiar geometry of SRLs allows the existence directionally bistable regime where the optical power is mainly concentrated in one propagation direction (clockwise or counterclockwise).
