Spatio-temporal dynamics of gain-guided semiconductor laser arrays and broad area lasers

Spatio-Temporal dynamics of a gain-guided semiconductor lasers is modeled based
on the Maxwell-Bloch equations for a two-level homogeneously broadened single
mode laser. The influence of some carrier-sensitive mechanism, as carrier
diffusion or injection current, on the dynamics of these gain-guided devices is
studied.
