For the first time Anticipated Synchronization is detected in primates as part of an investigation by researchers IFISC

The magazine NeuroImage published the article "Granger Causality Modelling positive and negative phase lag Between cortical areas". This article includes many of the thesis Seligardi Fernanda Matias, directed by Claudio Mirasso, Professor, Institute for Cross-Disciplinary Physics and Complex Systems, IFISC (CSIC-UIB), centered on understand the brain's ability to predict or anticipate what will happen. The particularity of this work is that, in addition to developing a theoretical model also provides experimental data. Specifically, this study included the results of tests on primates brains, which may constitute the first verification of the AS in the brain.
