OUTREACH
Researchers solve scientific questions in micro audiovisual spaces.
Audiovisuals resources and Communication Services from UIB have developed ten audiovisual microspaces where researchers answer a question so knowledgeably and with the support of the images.
UIB researchers who have worked on this project are Dr. Andreu Moià, the Department of Physics, Dr. Luis Gallego, the Department of Biology, Dr. Priam Villalonga, the Group of Cancer Cell Biology, Dr. Antoni Borras, the Environmental Radioactivity Laboratory of the UIB, Dr. Angel Bujosa, the Department of Applied Economics, Dr. José Javier Ramasco, the Institute for Cross-Disciplinary Physics and Complex Systems, IFISC (CSIC-UIB), Dr. Maite Arbós, the Department of Nursing and Physiotherapy Dr. Aina Salom, the Department of Public Law, Dr. Francisco J. Perales, Unit Graphics, Vision and Artificial Intelligence, and Dr. Bartomeu Serra, the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science.
The University responds is part of a responsible inter-university project in which the UIB participates in the framework of an agreement for the production of audio-visual material to support the task of informative research done in universities. Soon we see a hundred short videos in the same format produced by other Spanish universities.
